The Quarterly National Executive Council meeting of the Academic Staff Union of the University, ASUU, has been concluded in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital
Though the outcome of the meeting is not yet officially announced to journalists, insiders said the meeting had taken positions that will be made known to journalists soon.

Reports say the host Chairman of ASUU, Unical Chapter, Dr James Edor declined to give insight into the resolution of the union, however, said an official media briefing will be organised at the New ASUU office of the University of Calabar.
Issues of withheld and half salaries may have dominated discussions among the leadership of the Union during quarterly NEC meetings.
