INEC Boss noted that the commission has made tremendous progress in the electoral process, supported by the deployment of appropriate and relevant technology that will make voter accreditation and result management more credible and transparent.

The Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa and Sahel, Giovanie Biha, said that the visit of the UN envoy to Nigeria is to ascertain part of preparations for the 2023 general elections, stating that the UN will continue to give INEC necessary support that would aid peaceful and transparent elections in 2023.
