Cross River State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Andrew Zemo, has urged the newly posted corps members to be security conscious and raise alarm over any act of insecurity in their place of posting during the service year.

Zemo advised corps members during the swearing-in ceremony of Batch C Stream 2 of the scheme at Obubra Orientation Camp of Cross River State.

He warned that the service of corps members, including those in essential services like doctors and Nurses will be withdrawn if their security cannot be guaranteed in their place of primary assignments.

The Corps Camp Director, Mary-Jane Madueke, said unity, dedication to service, self-discipline and a sense of patriotism are some of the things learnt at the camp.

The coordinator advised corps members to sustain the spirit of hard work and resilience imbibed during the orientation course, towards meeting the expectations of Nigerians, by contributing towards the progress and development of the country.
