The Bayelsa state deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo has urged security agents operating in the state to redouble their efforts toward improving relative peace and stability through the yuletide season.

At this week’s executive council meeting at the government house, Yenagoa, the Deputy Governor while commending the doggedness of the security forces in recent times charged them to maintain the tempo.

He warned that the state government will spare no efforts in resisting attempts to make the state ungovernable during the yuletide and the upcoming general elections, calling on the youths to be law-abiding.

On next year’s elections, he says the state expects all Bayelsans to exercise their civic responsibility towards a successful electoral process.
