Controversy has ensued in former speaker of the house of representatives Dogara’s constituency following reports that a Christian group has endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC, party’s single faith ticket.

Hours after the group under the platform of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa Christian Support Group for APC in Bauchi State claimed to have endorsed the same faith movement of the party, another group, from the same constituency, sprang up to disown the claims, declaring their total support to PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

With this development, the dust raised by same faith ticket of the All progressives Congress among party supporters is yet to settle.

This is coming at the heels of meetings of two APC Christian groups in Dogara’s Constituency Over the Development.

Members of the group say, the decision of Former Speaker Dogara and the christian Association of Nigeria CAN, regarding the single faith ticket of the APC remains authentic no more no less.

The group insisted that, as christians who had 95% population in the constituency, they will never support same faith ticket of their party, the APC in the forthcoming presidential election.
