Some prospective voters in the Eastern Senatorial District of Kogi State have queried the inconsistency in the mode of distribution of the Permanent Voter Cards by the Independent National Electoral Commission in parts of the state as they waited many hours without collecting the cards.
Those who spoke to our ait.live said their economic activities have been put on hold for days to enable them get their PVC and expressed dismay over their inability to get the voter card
Anger and frustration is what these women and youths are going through at the PVC collection centers in Anyigba ward as it appears there is no hope in sight for them
According to them, the mode of operation is inconsistent with the conventions in other collection centers

For this catholic priest who mobilized over four hundred of his parishioners to register some months ago and is passing through the huddles of getting them to collect the cards, he thinks the government can do better to ease off the pains encountered by registrants
Easing off the stress of distribution could be made possible if the Imane formula of decentralizing the PVC distribution to the polling unit level is adopted and create days for the aged, physically challenged and vulnerable.
