Ohanaeze fixes date for burial of Prof George Obiozor

Ohanaeze President-General George Obiozor

The National Executive Council, NEC of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide has risen from an emergency session in Enugu, releasing the burial programme of its late President General, Professor George Obiozor.

Professor Obiozor who died in office late 2022 was 80 years old.

Briefing Newsmen at the National Secretariat, Secretary General of the apex Igbo soci-cultural organization, Ambassador Okey Emuchay announced the 10th of February 2023 as the burial date of the late President General of the Ohaneze Ndigbo in Imo State.

Also, the late Deputy President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Joel Krocham who died on the 27th August, 2022 at the age of 74 will be buried on Saturday, 4th February 2023 in Rivers State.

Ambassador Emuchay who described the passing on of the two great sons of the Igbo nation as a big loss, assures that Ndigbo will honor them with befitting burials.

The late President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Professor George Obiozor was elected into office on the 9th of January 2021.
