The people of Awba-Ofemmili, Ugbene, and Ugbenu communities in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, South East Nigeria, Thursday gave the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Uche Ekwunife a rousing welcome as she visits them for her political campaign tour.
The Incumbent Senator has, in a bid to be reelected into the red chambers, commenced a tour of the 59 communities in the zone.

The people of Awka North Local Government were elated to host her in their communities with dances, drums, and chants acknowledging her contribution to the development of the communities.
Sen. Ekwunife and the PDP house of representatives candidate for Anambra North and South, Emeka Igwe, while thanking them for the ceremonious welcome, admonished them against political apathy.
They added that improved involvement in the political process would yield better results for their communities.
