Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has accused the national leadership of his party, the PDP of colluding with other political parties, to sabotage the interest of the PDP in the State.
Governor Wike says the PDP in Rivers State had filed litigations against some opposition political parties; only to discover that the national leadership of the PDP had secretly gone behind to meet with the affected political parties and also colluded with them to write the lawyer representing the PDP to discontinue all cases.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Etche Local Government Area, Governor Wike says the national leadership of the PDP should expect retaliation for their anti- party activity starting from tomorrow, Tuesday 31st January 2023

Any doubts Governor Nyesom Wike and the Sim Fubara led “Consolidation and Continuity” team had about Etche were quickly dispelled by the massive crowd that turned out to receive them
The people of Etche say the 2023 election is about showing their gratitude to Governor Wike and paying him back for the many wonderful things his administration has done for them by voting for Sim Fubara and other State and National Assembly candidates of the PDP.

Governorship candidate of the PDP in Rivers State Sim Fubara says he will build on the good foundation of security, peace, justice, good governance, and people oriented projects laid by Governor Wike.
On his part, Governor Nyesom Wike says Sim Fubara will not only consolidate on the peace, security, and dividends of democracy being enjoyed in the state but will also protect the interest of Rivers State.
Governor Wike also on Monday says he has an axe to grind with the leadership of his party, the PDP…as he accuses them of sabotage and anti-party activities.
He says party leadership in Abuja should also expect retaliation for their action.
While thanking Rivers people for their continued support, Nyesom Wike says the 2023 general elections will be a battle to the finish.
