Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have been drawn against Morocco, South Africa, and Zambia in Group B of the 2023 Under-17 African Cup Of Nations AFCON Tournament in Algeria.
The Eaglets, top ranked African side was seeded in Pot B prior to the draw and will face a tough battle in their group where Morocco and Zambia are regional Champions and perennial rivals South Africans.
The under-17 AFCON will kickstart from the 29th of April to the 19th of May 2023.
Qualification for the Semi-finals for the Coach Uduka Ugbade-led team would mean a spot at the 2023 World Cup scheduled to hold in Peru from 10th November to 2nd December 2023.
