Remaining abducted four Pupils of LGEA primary school, Alwaza, Doma LG, rescued

Chairman Doma local government area in Nasarawa State , Ahmed Sarki has confirmed the rescue of the remaining four pupils abducted from Local Education Authority Primary School, Alwaza in Doma Local Government Area of the state

Ahmed Sarki said the release followed intense efforts made by Doma traditional council in collaboration with security agencies in the area.

Six pupils were kidnapped two weeks ago by gunmen riding on motorcycles.

Sarki explained to ait.live that the rescued pupils have been taken to the state specialist hospital in Lafia for medical examination before being released to their parents.

Four of the pupils rescued are part of the six pupils kidnapped by unknown gunmen with two released earlier.

The 4 pupils are rescued two weeks after their abduction on the 20th of January 2023.

It is unknown if any ransom was paid as a call to the police PPRO in the state was not successful.
