Oborevwori said for record purposes, the state government under Governor Okowa never sought for any fresh loan but that the government this year decided to change the Lead Bank for the already approved facility to Praimus Trust Bank, a change that had to again pass through the state Assembly as demanded by law.

The PDP governorship candidate who commended Governor Okowa the Vice-presidential candidate of the PDP for his remarkable development of the three Senatorial districts of the state further explained that The loan facility shall be liquidated from the billions of monies owed the state by the federal government which was spread across five years repayment period.

Oborevwori lauded Governor Okowa for giving the NUJ a befitting Secretariat and promised to be governor for all Deltans irrespective of the ethnic, tribe, or religious leanings and most especially to place high premium on issues of women, youths and children as enshrined in his MORE Agenda if elected.

He backed up his promise to consolidate the existing cordial relationship between the union and the state government with an instant donation of two giant air conditioners and a power generator to the new NUJ Secretariat built by Governor Okowa-led administration.
