Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has been declared as the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC after the party held a re-run governorship primary election.
The primary election which was held in Jalingo the Taraba State capital was boycotted by the other five governorship ticket aspirants in the party.

Two of the aspirants David Kente, and Senator Yusuf Yusuf, say they boycotted the governorship re-run election because it is illegal.
