The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has delivered to his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, the first election to be held in his state after his assumption of office.
The APC candidate in the Isiala Mbano/Okigwe/Onuimo Federal Constituency, Marian Odinaka Onuoha, was declared winner of the election with 23,690 votes. She defeated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate Onwubuariri Obinna Kingsley, who scored 10,010 votes.
In Bauchi State, however, the PDP candidate, Ahmad Madaki Gololo, was declared elected in the rerun election in Gamawa Federal Constituency with 21,223 votes, defeating his immediate opponent, Isa Muhammad Wafu, of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, who had 15,004 votes

Also, Auwal Jatau of the PDP was declared winner of the rerun election in Zaki Federal Constituency of Bauchi State with 15,405 votes against Tata Umar of the APC with 15,307 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared all the PDP candidates in the 3 re-run elections held in Akwa-Ibom State as winners. For the Akwa-Ibom North West Senatorial District, the PDP candidate polled a total of 134,717 votes to defeat the APC opponent and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, who got 83,820 votes.
In the House of Representatives Constituency, the PDP garnered a total of 45,366 votes to defeat the APC candidate who got 22,757 votes. The House of Assembly Constituency seat also went to the PDP candidate who got 18,999 votes over the APC that got 7,108 votes.

In Kano State, the APC won the rerun election. Munnir Babba Danagundi won the rerun election in Kumbotso Federal Constituency with 32,144 votes as against the 31, 258 votes of Ibrahim Umar Ballah of the PDP.
Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya of the APC was also returned elected in the Kagarko State Constituency rerun election in Kaduna State. Shadalafiya polled 24,658 votes to beat Tanko Morandia of the PDP with 20,206 votes.
Munnir Babba Danagundi of the APC was also elected in the Kumbotso Federal Constituency rerun election in Kano State. He scored 32,144 votes to defeat his closest rival, Ibrahim Umar Ballah, of the PDP who scored 31,258
Meanwhile, Christopher Adaji of the PDP, who was until the Appeal Court judgement, the Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, was returned elected in the Ohimini State Constituency rerun election with a total of 6,742 votes. He defeated Musa Alechenu of the APC, Mark Sunday of the All Progressives Grand Aliance, and three other opponents.
