The Federal Administrative Council of the Nigeria Civil service union, NCSU is asking Civil servants to vote for candidates of their choice in Saturday’s presidential and National assembly elections.
The call is regardless of a press statement by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC on Tuesday, asking workers to vote for the candidates of the Labour Party across board.

At its 57th Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, the affiliate union of the NLC appeals to all workers to ensure they exercise their Civic right by voting for work-friendly candidates, irrespective Of party affiliations.
Chairman of the Council, Aduga Aruwa used the occasion to appeal to the head of Federal civil service of the federation to cushion the effects of the Naira redesign, by providing transportation palliatives for workers to reduce lateness, truancy and absenteeism at workplaces.
The Union is also threatening industrial action against the federal government over 509 staff of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment who have not been captured on IPPIS, for alleged wrong documentation and fake employment.
