Obinna Ichita of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s rerun election in Aba South State Constituency of Abia State, South-East Nigeria.
Ichita polled 4,634 votes to defeat his closest rival, Clinton Ebere of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who garnered 3,154 votes.

In the same vein, APGA’s candidate, Mike Ukoha, was returned elected in the Arochukwu State Constituency rerun election after polling a total of 6,550 votes to beat his closest opponent, and PDP candidate, Eric Kalu.
