The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Alwan Hassan has been released by his abductors.

Hassan who was abducted in the ill fated Abuja-Kaduna train last week was released on Wednesday.

In a video released by his abductors and flanked by the kidnappers, the Bank of Industry executive confirmed that he was released due to his age.

He advised the government to negotiate with the terrorists as many of the captives were in bad shape.

The terrorist in same video advised the government to negotiate with them “before turning the camp to an abbatoir”.

Recall that the managing director had called his family few days after his abduction as a proof that he was still alive, urging them to be steadfast and not worry much.

It is not clear if ransom was paid for the release of Alwan Hassan.
