Opposition political party, Accord has dissolved its Oyo state executive for endorsing the Peoples Democratic party ‘s governorship candidate, governor Seyi Makinde.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of Accord (A) says its governorship candidate, Adebayo Adelabu is still much in the race and there is no basis for supporting candidate in another party.
In a statement signed by the party’s national chairman, Muhammad Nalado, the action of the party was taken after an emergency meeting of members which lasted for two hours in Abuja.
He said those relieved of their offices are the State Chairman of Accord, Prince Kolade Ojo, , Oyo State Secretary,Yinka Dairo and the entire Executive Committee members of the party in Oyo State.

Nalado said the NWC also resolved to constitute a five man Caretaker Committee to steer the party to victory and also manage the affairs of the party in the build up to the governorship and State Assembly elections.
He said the five- man Caretaker Committee members are: Alhaji Isiaka Salami, Chairman, Bashiru Ayobami, Secretary,
Fatai Salawu, Bimpe Martins, Ayodele Oyajide are other members of the Caretaker Committee.
