Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has announced plans by the state government to purchase 52,000 shares of Dangote Petroleum Refinery for civil servants, as part of measures to improve their economic status.

The Governor described the investment as an economic empowerment initiative for civil servants in the state, with the objective of giving workers an opportunity to participate in wealth creation and improve their economic standing.

He said, beginning Monday, the State Government would purchase the 52,000 Dangote shares for civil servants as an initiative designed to complement government efforts aimed at improving the welfare and economic wellbeing of workers.

Fintiri was speaking to stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC at a meeting, where he urged party members to vote for President Bola Tinubu, the APC governorship candidate, the party’s three senatorial candidates and its eight House of Representatives candidates in the state.

The Governor called on members and supporters of the APC, to close ranks and work for the party’s victory in the 2027 general elections.

The APC stakeholders meeting brought together party leaders, stakeholders and supporters as the party begins preparations for the 2027 general elections in Adamawa State.

Governor Fintiri, addressing the gathering, called for unity and a coordinated voting pattern that would ensure victory for the APC at the presidential, governorship, senatorial and House of Representatives levels.

The Governor said the party’s strength would depend on the ability of its members and supporters to remain united and mobilise voters across the state ahead of the 2027 polls.

He urged stakeholders to take the message of the party to the grassroots and work collectively for electoral success.

The APC stakeholders meeting ended with renewed calls for party unity, grassroots mobilisation and support for the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
