As the 2027 political season gathers momentum, the Obidient Movement, supporting Peter Obi and the Kwankwasia Movement of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso have entered into an alliance aimed at mobilising Nigerian youths ahead of the general elections.
Leaders of the Kwankwasia Movement visited the Obidient Movement House in Abuja, where both groups held strategic discussions on strengthening youth participation in the country’s political process.
Speaking at the meeting, leaders of both movements said the alliance is focused on building a broad-based coalition to expand their support base and engage young Nigerians across regions, with emphasis on civic awareness, political inclusion, and grassroots mobilisation.
They added that the partnership will involve joint outreach programmes, coordinated advocacy, and unified messaging targeted at young voters.
The development signals a growing effort among youth-driven political movements to consolidate influence ahead of the next electoral cycle, amid calls for greater representation of young people in governance.
