The Kaduna State Government has pledged full support for the implementation of the Federal Government’s Housing Project, as part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, gave the assurance during a visit by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority, Oyetunji Ojo, to secure land allocation for the mass housing project in Kaduna.

Reports from the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and the World Bank, reveal Nigeria’s staggering housing deficit of over 28 million units.

To address this deficit, President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, mandates the Federal Housing Authority to construct 5,000 housing units in every state, for low-income earners.

In line with the directive, the MD/CEO of the Federal Housing Authority, Oyetunji Ojo, and his team are in Kaduna, to collaborate with the state government, and secure land for the project.

Governor Uba Sani expressed enthusiasm, approving land allocation for the Federal Government’s Mass Housing Project, and aligning the initiative with his administration’s sustain agenda.

The Kaduna State Government further pledged collaboration with the Federal Housing Authority, through an off-takers arrangement, signalling joint efforts, to tackle housing challenges.

Both parties agreed that Kaduna State would host the groundbreaking ceremony, with President Bola Tinubu, expected to be in attendance.
