Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has described the big win of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Presidential and National Assembly elections as confirmation of his mandate.
The governor who stated this at his country home in Ede, calls for further mobilization for repeat of victory at the state assembly.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was declared winners in all the three senatorial seats and nine house of representatives seats in Saturday’s election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared the results in the three senatorial Election Collation Centres in Osun state.
Senator Francis Fadahunsi, who is currently at the red chamber of the national assembly was returned as a senator representing Osun East senatorial district, after defeating Israel Famurewa of the All Progressives Congress

In Osun central, Olubiyi Fadeyi of the PDP defeated Ajibola Basiru who is currently the spokesperson of the Senate.
Also in Osun West Lere Oyewumi of the PDP was declared winner of the contest as he defeated Amidu Tadese of the APC
All the nine house of representatives candidates of the PDP also won their elections.
