The African Women’s Volleyball Championship, taking place in Rwanda which was abruptly ended on Saturday 18th September 2021 will continue Sunday, the 19th September 2021 with semi final fixtures.
Nigeria will face Cameroun for a spot in the final while Morocco and Kenya go neck to neck.

The competition was abruptly brought to an end on Saturday after the local organising committee denied teams and the confederation of Africa Volleyball access to the Kigali ARENA hosting the tournament following the disqualification of the host team.
The Government of Rwanda overruled the decision to end the game
Host, Rwanda who had reached the semi final of the competition was disqualified for fielding intelligible players.
Four Brazilians played for RWANDA in their games against Senegal and Nigeria.
Both opponents sent a written petition to the games control board in protest.
Findings revealed that the four Brazilian players in the Rwandan team had not fulfilled the FIVB Naturalisation requirements.
