The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Cross River State has again shifted the collation of result time to 10 am Monday, 27 February 2023 at the INEC collation centre in Calabar.

Head of INEC Public Affairs and voter education in Cross River State, Anthonia Nwobi made this known to journalists at about 8:40 pm this Sunday.

She blame the shift on the inability of the Electoral officers in the eighteen local Government Areas to arrive at Calabar Headquarters of the commission, saying only one result arrived on Sunday evening.

Recall that the collation was to commence at 12 noon on Sunday but shifted to 7 pm citing the same reason.

Meanwhile, the Inter-Party Advisory Council IPAC has raised the alarm about the possible interference with the result of the election. INEC however described Attah Bisong led IPAC as an alarmist and purveyor of fake information
