Presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi says he will reduce the cost of governance, criminality and corruption within government space as a country, to be more productive if elected as President.
Obi who stated this while addressing newsmen shortly after he attended the NKST synod in Mkar Gboko local government of Benue State was more concerned about how to turn the country’s over 130 million people living in poverty into economic assets rather than liabilities.

Obi who addressed his supporters at the JS Tarka stadium after the programme challenged work hard to make sure he was elected. He then reacts to recent statistics released by national bureau of statistics indicating a staggering 63 percent of Nigerians are multi dimensionally poor.
Obi also insist that Nigeria must be made a productive country for things to start changing. He leaves with a promise to ensure a Benue that is secured, where people can go back to their farm and a more productive country where people will be fulfilled and happy.
