President Bola Tinubu has met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, ahead of the Opening Session of the World Climate Action Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The President also exchanged views with the President of Kenya, William Ruto, before the summit.
Another notable leader President met before the COP 28 summit is the British Monarch, King Charles III.

Top on his agenda is increased financial and technical support for developing nations, while reminding developed countries of their public pledge to provide $100 billion annually as support to localized initiatives to address climate change-related challenges.
The President’s message will also focus on holding businesses and institutions accountable, reflecting Nigeria’s dedication to sustainable and responsible practices.
