Ahead of 2023 elections, “Third Force” political group emerges in Kwara State

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Third Force political group has emerged in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, following unabated crises currently rocking the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in the state.

Against this backdrop some aggrieved members of the party, including those of the Young Progressives Party, (YPP), numbering about twenty thousand, have defected to form the new political association known as, The Third Force.

The spokesperson of the group who is also the former Senatorial Chairman of the APC for Kwara Central, Abdulfatai Abdulrahman, hinged the action of members on the urgent desire to bring development and other ingredients of democracy to the people of the state.

Abdulrahman maintained that the new political party will soon be unveiled, to enable citizens identify with a new democratic brand.

The group has however appealed to the political gladiators in the state to team up and register with the new party, created with the sole aim of taking the state to a more productive level.
