The new Assistant Inspector General of Police in Charge of Zone 13, covering Anambra and Enugu State Commands, AIG Miller Dantawaye has tasked personnel against evasion of justice and thorough investigation of crime in the discharge of their duties.
AIG Dantawaye, at his operational visit to the Anambra Command, conveyed the directive of the Inspector-General of Police on discipline.
He charged officers and men of the Command on the need for civility in their engagement with members of the public, harping against evasion of justice in any Police establishment.
The AIG encouraged the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution system in the management of some disputes before heading to the Courts.

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji, highlights the gains of surveillance drones deployed in crime fighting in the State to the success of recent breakthroughs in kidnapping and other criminal investigations and arrests in the State.
The Police authorities want officers to sustain visibility patrols in the State especially in the weekends.
