Portharcourt residents have commended Daar communications plc owners of AIT,Raypower and Faaji FM for being professional in their reportage and programming from inception.
This is coming as the media organization marks her twenty seven years of uninterrupted broadcasting.
Founded on November twenty second ninteen ninety six by late High chief Raymond Dokpesi a man who had passion for the expansion and transformation of media broadcasting in Nigeria and beyond, the organization which started with Raypower Fm later gave birth to Africa Independent Television AIT and Faaji FM which till date, has remained the station to beat in contemporary broadcasting due to its constant innovations in broadcasting and general programming.
In an era where criticism and name calling have been major challenges, media houses have to contend with, some people still believe that AIT has maintained its slogan “All sides all the times” which they say has endeared the media organization to millions of viewers of the station.
While reflecting on the life and times of the founder late High chief Raymond Dokpesi, they described him as a detribalised and accomodating man with a vision of building men and women across ethnic and religious divides.
With the great heights attained by the organization in twenty seven years of its operation, Nigerians want the media giant to maintain its standards in broadcasting while leaving room for improvement in terms of technological innovations that make it compete favourably in current digital broadcasting.
