The Akwa Ibom State Government says it has injected more funds to boost the state economy, with the release of funds to complete ongoing infrastructural projects.
This is a fallout of the state executive council meeting at Government House Uyo, the state capital
The meeting was presided over by the Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel
At the end of deliberations the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong in the company of his colleagues in Agriculture, Glory Edet, Lands and Housing Umoh Eno highlights key resolutions arrived at particularly as it concerns the local economy

Ememobong further says that the inter-ministerial projects and the education sector are to be re-energised.
According to him, other critical sectors like housing and power will receive more attention
The commissioner adds that the spike in Covid 19 cases is cause for worry and that executive directs all protocol measures to be reactivated.
