Former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar says the 10 – lane Ring Road executed by Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel can not be found in any other state in the country.
Abubakar said this at the commissioning of the project in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel who recorded another achievement with the commissioning of the Ring Road 3 project , a 9.5km, 10 lane, dual carriage way master piece.
At the commissioning of the project, the presidential candidate of the PDP in next year’s election, Atiku Abubakar represented by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri said Governor Emmanuel had performed an unprecedented feat.
Governor Emmanuel pointed out that the infrastructure was a catalyst for the development of the state.
Former senate President, Bukola Saraki and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal spoke about the governor.
The road is divided into two sections with a rainbow water fountain separating them. The Nwaniba section is named after former military Governor of the state, late Idongesit Nkanga, while the Ibesikpo section is named after former governor of the old Cross River state and former CBN Governor, late Clement Isong.
