Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno has commissioned major infrastructural and empowerment projects in Oron Local Government Area, with the people of Oro Nation also endorsing him for a second term in office.
It was a day of celebration in Oron as Governor Umo Eno inaugurated a Model Primary Health Centre, a Youth Development Centre, newly constructed roads with drainage systems, and a new administrative building for the Oron Local Government Council.

Speaking during the commissioning, the Governor described the projects as people-centered initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, empowering youths, and opening up rural communities for development.
At the Youth Development Centre, Governor Eno said similar facilities would be replicated across the thirty-one local government areas of the State to train thousands of youths annually in ICT, fashion, catering and other skills.
The Governor also commissioned the four-point-two kilometre Effiong Esang and Ukpong Streets with discharge drains, saying the project has permanently addressed the erosion challenges faced by residents.
At the Oron Township Stadium, the people of Oro ethnic nationality unanimously endorsed Governor Umo Eno for a second term, pledging their continued support for his administration till 2031.
