If you have been following the story of the embattled 54 year old Harlem New York City United States born rapper music executive Sean Combs known by the stage name Diddy; then this might interest you.

The Howard University Washington, D.C. has withdrawn its honorary degree awarded to the “Another One Of Me” singer following a 2016 viral video footage of him physically assaulting his former girlfriend Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura in a hotel hallway.

In a statement made available on the website of the University; the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to revoke the degree bestowed on Diddy in 2014; noting his actions constituted a major breach of the institution’s core values.

An excerpt from the statement reads:

The Howard University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to accept the return by Mr. Sean Combs of the honorary degree conferred upon him in 2014.

“This acceptance revokes all honours and privileges associated with the degree.

“Accordingly, the Board has directed that his name be removed from all documents listing honorary degree recipients of Howard University.”
