The Chairman of Amotekun Commanders in the Southwest region, Adetunji Adeleye says the solution to Nigeria’s security challenges lies in the introduction of state police to function alongside other security agencies.
Adeleye gave the advice on Wednesday in Akure during the parade of 31 suspects for alleged involvement in various offences across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The Ondo state Amotekun Commander, who doubles as the chairman of South West Amotekun Commanders, said the creation of state police would effectively and efficiently address the security challenges in South West Nigeria.

Adeleye, who frowned at the recent kidnapping of school children and killing of two monarchs said Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has directed Amotekun in the state to be part of security efforts in Ekiti State.
The Commander said the suspects paraded will soon be arraigned in court after conclusion of investigations
