The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, has arrested suspected bandits and their families who reportedly fled from northern states affected by ongoing military operations against terrorists.
The Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed this in Akure while parading 97 suspects arrested across the state within the last 14 days.
Adeleye said the suspects are being profiled and screened.
He said those found without criminal links will be returned to their states of origin in collaboration with Miyetti Allah and Hausa community leaders in Ondo State, while suspects linked to criminal activities will face prosecution.
Also paraded were suspected kidnappers, armed robbery suspects, and individuals arrested for violating the state’s Anti-Open Grazing Law.
