In less than 48 hours, voters in Anambra State are expected to file out to elect the next governor who will superintend over the affairs of the State for the next four years.
A total of 18 political parties will be on the ballot with residents making the decisive choice.
There are indications that the exercise may be marred by low turn out of voters, as some of the eligible voter on Thursday, expressed doubts about their readiness to exercise their franchise this Saturday.
And Awka the State capital looks busy this Thursday, residents are going about their normal businesses, amidst concerns of heavy influx of security agents.

They also expressed reservations over the heavy presence of armed security operatives in the state ahead of the election.
For a State which has maintained a culture of high voter apathy since it had its first democratically by elected governor in 1999, there are deep concerns that Saturday’s election may not be any different.
