A Non-Governmental Organization, Muryar Talaka Awareness Initiative, has condemned the latest alleged unprovoked violence, meted out on peace-loving and law-abiding Nigerians, living in Anambra State on Sunday, May 22, by the outlawed terrorist Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB.
A statement by the National Secretary of the Organization, Bishir Dauda, said the conspiratorial silence that followed the killings, especially in the South-East, in which no national daily or any leader, raised an eyebrow over the homicide, is an indication of complicity, and tacit support of the educated and political elites in that part of Nigeria, of the gruesome act, that wasted over ten lives, including a pregnant woman and children.
Dauda added that the organization is calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria to fast-track the arrest and prosecution of the criminals, who perpetrated the Anambra gory incident.
According to him, the organization, further reiterates its stand, that Nnamdi Kanu, the identified ring leader of the terror groups in the South-East, must face the full wrath of the law.
Dauda said, other members of the IPOB and Eastern Security Network, ESN, must not escape justice.
The organization, therefore, said justice for victims of the attacks must be served, for Nigeria to survive, and that criminals and terrorists must be dealt with, in the language they understand.
