The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Anambra State, Saturday, lamented the failure of the scheduled State congresses.
The congress which was meant to usher in a new leadership for the party in the state, was scheduled to take place on Saturday.
AIT crew at the state party Secretariat until 5:30pm in the evening, observed that no congress was held and the adhoc committee expected to monitor the congress were not available.

The former PDP State Chairman, Ndubisi Nwobu and some other party stakeholders expressed disappointment with the development.
At the time of filing this report, the adhoc committee were not available to ascertain whether the congress had been postponed or cancelled.
