Suspected herdsmen have kidnapped Rev Fr. Christopher Odia of St Michael Catholic Church, Ikabigbo, Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government of Edo state on Sunday.
He was abducted Sunday morning from his residents at the Ikabigbo Parish about 6 am.
Reports say the incident had thrown the community and the church hierarchy into fear.

The report said that three people were shot and one identified as Dr Nuru died immediately while others who were injured were taken to Irrua specialist hospital as of the time of filing this report.
Members of the Paris protested Sunday morning, calling for his rescue.
