Another group of ninety-eight Nigerians stranded in Morocco have departed Casablanca for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The aircraft conveying the evacuees took off from the King Mohammed the fifth Airport in Casablanca, at 9am Thursday morning.
The evacuees include professionals and students from various institutions in Morocco, who were stranded since March due to international air travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aircraft, a Royal Air Maroc, B737 -800 series aircraft which is also conveying 35 Nigeriens will make a brief stopover at the Diori Hamani International Airport, Niamey, Niger Republic, before proceeding to Abuja.
All the evacuees were tested for COVID-19 and will go into 14-day self-isolation on arrival.
