Barley 24 hours after two persons were beheaded in Effium community, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State by suspected warlords, another two bodies have been found without heads in Igede village in the same Effium community.
Traumatized villagers now seeking refuge outside the warring Effium community told ait.live that the latest victims were identified as 79 year-old Paul Idu, and 47 years old Elizabeth Amos Agbudu.
They claim that the whereabouts of a 10 year-old boy, Ekene Ukwo is still unknown after the rampaging tribal militias retreated.
Three houses are reportedly razed in the renewed invasion of what appears as a coordinated onslaught against the natives.

The Police in Ebonyi State has confirmed the new attacks, and the number of casualties.
Command spokesman, DSP Joshua Ukandu simply notes that there are military and mobile police units stationed in the community to protect the people.
The Ebonyi State government is yet to make any public statement on the latest developments in the escalating Ezza Effium and Effium communal conflict.
