The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, have dismissed the petition of Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Supreme Court, describing it as false hope.
Fielding questions from State House correspondents after formally introducing the new Governor of Imo State to President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC National Chairman insisted that Ihedioha should not have been declared Governor in the first instance by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Oshiomhole maintained that there are lots of issues the electoral umpire cannot defend in the Imo governorship election.
