Elders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State have urged Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to resolve their differences and avoid rivalry within the party.
The Mandate Elders Forum made the call while addressing journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The forum, led by its Chairman, Demola Ijabiyi, urged Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Minister to work through their respective political structures towards a common objective.
The elders warned against unhealthy rivalry, personal ambition and actions by supporters capable of undermining either of the two leaders.
