The Member representing Makurdi north State constituency Kwagh Kudi along with his Kastina-Ala West State constituency counterpart Jacob Orban of the Benue State house of assembly BSHA have officially defected from the All progressives congress APC to the People’s Democratic Party.

Receiving The two law makers into the State’s ruling party leader of the party in the State, Governor Samuel Ortom says it is the right decision as the People’s Democratic Party remains the only party to beat.
With the defection, the People’s Democratic Party comfortably maintains its dominance at the State House of Assembly bringing its number to 26 out of a total of 30 members.
