The Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Dr. Salihu Alizaga, has been suspended by his party the APC for alleged insubordination.

Alizaga was suspended by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

The chairman of the party, Malle Moses, announced this at the party office in Nasarawa Eggon while constituting a 7-man committee to investigate the alleged insubordination to leaders of his ward.

According to Moses, the suspension was to pave way for a thorough investigation against the former seasoned academician.

In the petition made available to the media, the secretary of the party, Umar Dahiru, alleged that the Commissioner was interfering in affairs of the party in his ward, without the permission of the party.

In his reaction, the Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Dr. Salihu Alizaga, said that he was not aware of the suspension, noting that as the leader of the party in his local government area, the leadership of the party does not have the jurisdiction to suspend him.
