The All Progressives Congress- APC in Gombe State, has resolved to explore the party’s Constitutional provision of Consensus, in the election of leaders of the party at the state level.
The resolution was reached at the gathering of all stakeholders meeting held in Gombe.

Acting state Chairman of the APC, Nitte Amangal, revealed that the meeting was to prepare the members towards the coming National Congress of the Ruling party.
The meeting came up with a two point resolution read by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who was also declared the leader of the APC in the state.
The stakeholders believed that with unity among members, consensus was the best option, in the promotion of peace and good leadership.
The Governor had earlier distributed brand new cars to the chairmen of the eleven Local Government Areas of the state, with a charge to ensure good governance.
