The All Progressives Congress, APC in Gombe State, North-East Nigeria has made good on its threat to sanction erring members for anti-party activities, as it has suspended two serving members of the National Assembly.
Those affected are the senator representing Gombe South, Bulus Amos, and member representing Yamaltu Deba Federal Constituency, Yunusa Abubakar
According to a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Moses Kyari, the party’s State Executive Committee have ratified the suspension of Senator Bulus Amos following the recommendation made by executives of his BamBam Council Ward in Balanga Local Government Area that found him guilty of anti-party activities.

Recall that the ward executives of the party had set up a five-man committee to investigate the activities of Senator Amos and had invited him to defend his actions, but he declined.
The party stated that it had adopted the recommendations of the ward executives, which include suspension and eventual expulsion from the party.
