Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has said the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the Southeast will not succumb to intimidation, propaganda or sentiments when it comes to voting for Nigeria’s next President in 2023.

Uzodimma stated this as leaders of the party in the Southeast converged on Owerri, Imo State capital.

Addressing the gathering of party faithful, the Governor called on all aggrieved members to respect the supremacy of the party in order to ensure electoral victory.

He further noted that the achievements of the Buhari led administration in infrastructure development and growth of the economy should be added advantages for the APC in a campaign he said will be issue based rather than sentiments and insults.

Other leaders at the event supported the views expressed Gov. Uzodimma and shared in his optimism that the party will retain power in 2023.

The meeting is the second of similar engagements by the APC in the South East region of Nigeria ahead of the 2023 general elections.
