Thousands of citizens have staged a solidarity match on the streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital in support of what they termed, “the giant strides of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The solidarity rally was organized by a group simply known as Imo Coalition For True Democracy, Peace and Unity.

The group said it embarked on the solidarity match to show appreciation to the Governor for his people oriented projects since his assumption of office two years ago.
The group, mostly road transport workers and traders walked through major streets in Owerri metropolis chanting solidarity songs in unison and in support of the administration of Gov. Uzodimma.
The group listed the massive road constructions and other developmental projects embarked by the State government as clear pointers for their supports to the government.
