Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has called for a national dialogue that will guarantee sustainable financing for the security sector amidst the national economic crisis.
Speaking at the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Governor Adeleke who described the event as a solemn tribute to the dead and living noted that proper attention to the welfare of service personnel is key for national security.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Oladipo Abioye Peter while thanking the State Government for its support over the years, used the occasion of the remembrance day to put the governor on notice, of the legion’s intention to discuss its areas of needs in the coming days with the state government.
